It’s that time of year again! Hockey season is back!
We are only a few short days away from the Pittsburgh Penguins season opener where they will raise another Stanley Cup Champion banner for the second year in a row.
I wanted to take this time to thank everyone for following this website by reading my stories, game updates, Twitter and Facebook posts, and taking part in the trivia game. I have been on a rather long hiatus this summer and I do apologize for not updating. I went through a bit of a rough patch in my life and everything caught up to me at once. Finishing college and starting my career has been a dream of mine for years. It has been rougher than I expected. I won’t go into great detail, but I was discouraged and couldn’t find my drive or passion for this industry.

However, thanks to this site and all those that have supported me over the years, I found my passion once again. I am very happy to say that I have a renewed sense of determination and passion for this industry. So I hope you all will once again join me for the 2017-18 Penguins season. I am excited to get things underway and back up to usual. There will some new aspects to the site, which will help engage everyone over the season, besides trivia.
On that note, trivia will once again be back and we will kick off a new season during the Penguins first regular season game. Huge congratulations to @MyTanger58 for defending her title as Trivia Champion. Also, congratulations to @PirateNation22 for coming close to claiming the championship. I must also mention @Vinnied73 who came in late to the season but made a huge effort to take third place. I will have your trivia prizes sent out soon, so be looking for that message. Now it’s time to wipe the slate clean and start a new season! I look forward to it!
Once again thank you. I value all those that follow me whether you agree with some of my opinions/observations or not. You guys help me strive to become better and try to make my own way in this world. Please continue to follow and spread the word to help this little blog that I started seven years in high school become even bigger.
As always,
LETS GO PENS!
