This game will be a possible first round playoff preview as the Penguins take on the Detroit Red Wings in Pittsburgh! The Penguins have been playing with a diminished lineup, but still getting the work done during games. They have the most man lost games in the NHL and have been proving that it's all about sticking to a system to get the wins. They played with a depleted roster against the Colorado Avalanche and came out with the victory. It was a hard fought game and they played a solid game all around on the ice. The Penguins will be able to welcome back some key players to the lineup. First off the hair is back! Kris Letang will return to the lineup tonight after missing games due to a stroke. It's great to see him getting back to playing and they will take it game to game. Welcome back Tanger! Also Sidney Crosby, Chris Kunitz, Brooks Orpik, and Olli Maatta will be getting back into the lineup to help the Penguins boost their roster. The Penguins will have to wait to get back to normal as players like Letang have been out a number of games. It will take him a few games to get his skates back under him fully, but he should be ready by playoff time. The Penguins have to play a smart and hard game against the Red Wings to get the win tonight! Lets Go Pens!

1:01- Flower makes two huge saves on again! The reason the Pens are still in this game.
2:27- Stempniak gets behind the Red Wings defense off a pass from Sutter! Gustavsson robs him twice!
4:30- Flower absolutely robs Datsyuk with a sick save!
5:00- Time for overtime! The Pens need to keep the puck and pressure the Red Wings in the offensive zone...way more! Lets Go Pens!
3rd Period
0:00- We are headed to overtime!
1:15- JURCO SCORES! The Red Wings crash the net and end up getting traffic in front. It goes off Jurco and hops over Flower. 3-3 tie game.
2:14- The Pens PP comes to an end.
4:14- The Pens are getting a PP chance! Gibbons races for the puck and ends up drawing a huge penalty! Lashoff will sit for holding.
7:20- The Red Wings get some sustained pressure in the Pens zone, but Flower holds down the fort. The Pens are finally able to clear for a change.
8:24- Kuni lets go of a wicked wrist shot as he enters the offensive zone. Gustavsson makes the glove save, but it was a sneaky shot.
10:40- JOKINEN SCORES!!! Tanger comes flying into the offensive zone and fires a shot on net! Gustavsson can't hold onto the puck and it tickles behind him! Jokinen gets to the rebound and makes it 3-2 Pens!
10:55- Niskanen makes a sick pass to Neal and he rifles a shot! Gustavsson makes a unreal pad save! Neal was so close!
13:53- Sutter is back on the ice!
17:25- Sutter goes down hard along with a Red Wing player. He looks to be in some discomfort on the bench, but gets up to skate to the bench. Really hope he is ok.
20:00- Third period time! The Pens need to battle and put some pucks on net! Plain and simple! Lets Go Pens!

1:09- Sid puts a pass on Neal's stick and he stick handles around everyone in the defensive zone. It was an amazing play and can't be describe...just wow!
3:18- NEAL SCORES HIS SECOND PP GOAL OF THE NIGHT!! Neal rifles a shot from the faceoff circle and it goes right trough the legs of Kuni into the Red Wings net! Amazing shot! This one is tied up 2-2!
3:34- The Pens are getting a much needed PP as Legwand is sent to the sin bin for high sticking.
5:38- KINDL SCORES! Nyquist fires a shot and it goes pass Flower as a Red Wing was fallen on him. Was goalie interference for sure, but no call will be coming. Pens down 2-1.
8:05- Tanger made a huge play by laying his body on the line to block a rebound chance. Welcome back!
10:55- NEAL SCORES ON THE PP! Sid calmly stick handles through the Red Wings at the blue line and backhands a pass to Neal on his wing! Neal holds and puts the puck around the out-stretch pad of Gustavsson! 1-1 tie game!
11:21- The Pens are getting another PP opportunity as Glendening for interference. The Pens have to capitalize on this!
12:01- Flower has been strong in the net for the Pens and dealing with a lot of traffic in front of him.
13:52- This is a really fast pace game and it's in favor of the Red Wings. The Pens need to play with more desperation if they want to match the Red Wings right now.
18:20- The Pens PP comes to an end and the Red Wings are back to full strength.
