The Penguins are coming off a 4-2 over the Blue Jackets last night at Consol, then turning around to travel to Columbus for a back-to-back game! The Penguins looked good and had some great chances on net, even chasing out Vezina trophy winner Bobrovsky. That didn't stop the Blue Jackets from coming strong and Flower was the star of the game. Without the Flower being on his game, the Blue Jackets would of won the game. The Penguins will have to step up their game and stick to it for the entire game! Lets Go Pens!

0:37- JOKINEN SCORES AN EMPTY NETTER!!! Geno knocks the puck up and Jokinen finds it, backhanding one into the empty net!
2:16- Blue Jackets have an empty net.
4:42- Megna working hard on the boards in the Blue Jackets zone. Impressive.
6:48- Zatkoff makes a save with his mask and has to retrieve his back-up mask!
9:07- The Pens kill off the Blue Jackets PP!
11:07- 4 on 4 hockey ends and the Blue Jackets have a PP for 1:39.
11:28- Maatta goes to the box for tripping. 4 on 4 hockey for 21 seconds.
13:07- The Pens are getting a PP after Megna is tripped up by Atkinson at the blue line of the Blue Jackets zone.
15:14- The Blue Jackets crash the net, but Zatkoff is able to keep the puck out and covers it for a faceoff.
16:31- Blue Jackets call a timeout after icing the puck.
19:13- BLUE JACKETS COMEAU SCORE ON THEMSELVES! Kuni makes a pass towards the goal and Comeau directs it pass his own goalie. The Pens have a 2-0 lead!
20:00- Third period time! The Pens keep to get at least one more goal on the board, but keep playing a tight game. Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- The second period comes to an end. The Pens have the lead 1-0!
2:29- The Pens cannot get a goal on the PP and Boll is set free. The Pens had some great chances on net.
4:29- The Pens will get a PP chance as Boll is called for boarding after drilling Tanger in the boards from behind. Scary hit, but Tanger looks to be ok.
5:16- Both teams are back to full strength! The Pens with some great chances on net, but McElhinney and Zatkoff make the saves.
7:16- Tanger goes to the box for roughing and Umberger for holding. 4 on 4 hockey time!
7:53- The Blue Jackets cannot capitalize on the PP chance. Jokinen is released from the box and the Pens are back to full strength.
9:53- The Pens will bring out the PK unit as they are called for too-many men on the ice, Jokinen will serve it.
13:14- ENGO SCORES! Jeffrey works hard on the boards to get the puck up to Vitale. He makes a outlet pass to Engo and he rifles one pass McElhinney, up high! The Pens with the first goal and have the lead 1-0!
14:44- Niskanen with a great block shot effort and Zatkoff makes the glove save on the rebound.
15:55- Sid gets a one handed shot off, but it goes wide of the net.
19:24- The Blue Jackets kill off the Pens PP and Wisniewski is released.
20:00- Second period is underway! The Pens still have 35 seconds left on the PP! Lets Go Pens!

3:01- Niskanen boxes out the Blue Jackets and Zatkoff is able to cover the puck for a defensive zone faceoff.
5:52- The Pens doing a good job of winning battles and keeping the puck on the boards. Zatkoff comes out of the net to clear the puck out of the area. The Pens playing a tight hockey game.
7:00- Duper gets another quality chance on net, but McElhinney denies him.
10:05- Sid gets a shot off in the slot area, but McElhinney makes the pad save. Duper goes for the rebound and just misses it.
13:18- The shots are 3-2 in favor of the Blue Jackets.
16:34- Zatkoff with a good save and the Pens get a chance at the other end. Vitale almost gets his stick on the puck, but McElhinney covers it up.
