It's Hockey Night in Pittsburgh and the Penguins will host the New York Islanders at Consol Energy Center. The Penguins are coming off a dominating win over the Capitals and one of their best performances this month. The Penguins are only making one change to their lineup as Flower will get a break tonight and Zatkoff will take over. The Penguins need to take the win momentum and make sure to conserve some energy tonight, since they will travel to Montreal to take on the Canadians for a game Saturday night.

0:46- Nelson goes down hard after a hit from Adams. Whistle is blown and he is helped to the bench.
1:10- The Isles get a late PP as Glass is caught for slashing.
1:13- SID SCORES!!!! HIS 250TH CAREER GOAL!!!! Kuni goes in hard on the forecheck behind the net and wins the puck battle to Duper. Duper at the side to Sid and he buries it! 4-3 Pens
2:35- Geno wins an offensive zone faceoff back to Neal. Neal fires a shot and it does find its way under Poulin's arm, but he falls back to cover the puck!
4:24- Bennett hasn't played during the third period, not sure what happened.
5:04- Geno gets behind the Isles defense, but Poulin robs him!
5:34- More of a up and down hockey game. Nothing much going on right now, just both teams dumping the puck, but then it clear just as quickly.
10:13- Sid and Kuni get a chance. Kuni passes to Sid, who does a spin-o-rama and fires a shot that is directed wide of the net!
10:57- Geno and Neal crash the net and Poulin losses his stick! Geno gets the puck back to Neal, but his shot is blocked!
11:30- The Pens have gone back to old lineups. Sid, Duper, and Kuni are reunited and Geno, Neal, and Jokinen.
14:18- The Isles are getting chances left and right, quality ones at that. Zatkoff has had to make some difficult saves throughout this game. He is coming up big for the Pens.
16:12- The Pens fourth line works hard in the Isles zone and gets a couple of quality chances on net.
18:03- The Pens get a 2-on-1 chance. Bennett carries it into the Isles zone and sends a rocket shot wide of the net!
20:00- Time for the third period! The Pens need to tighten up their game and keep the puck in the Isles zone! Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends and the Isles have tied up this game 3-3!
1:00- The Pens get huge chances on net! The two-headed monster (Sid and Geno) both with amazing chances!
2:02- The Pens with another big PK! They are back to full strength.
2:14- Martin and Glass get a 2-on-1 chance on the PK. Martin passes to Glass, but his shot is just directed wide by Poulin!
4:02- Adams heads to the box now for slashing. 5 on 3 for 3 seconds and then the Isles get a normal PP for 1:57.
5:59- Niskanen gets a delay of game penalty and the Isles bring out their PP unit for the fourth time.
7:06- VANEK SCORES! Martin makes a uncharacteristic play that results in a turnover in their own zone. Zatkoff is caught out of the net and Orpik falls down. The Isles crash the net and Vanek puts one in the wide open net. 3-3 tie game
8:25- MCDONALD SCORES! The two teams were trading chances and Tanger is caught up ice. McDonald gets a chance and doesn't waste it. The Isles are back within one. 3-2 Pens
9:00- Sutter gets a breakaway chance. Sutter goes to the backhand, but just puts one wide.
10:40- Martin fires a shot from the point and it finds its way through traffic, but ends up going off the goal post!
13:35- GENO SCORES!!! Geno passes to Neal, he flies pass the net and passes back to Geno! Geno fights to get a shot off and it finds its way through Poulin! 3-1 Pens!
14:49- The Pens kill off yet another Isles PP. The Isles are egging the Pens on trying to get them to retaliate for a penalty.
16:49- Grabner lays a punishing end on an unsuspecting Tanger. Niakanen goes after him and receives a roughing penalty and the Isles get a PP.
18:14- VANEK SCORES! Vanek lets go of a quick shot on the stick side of Zatkoff. The Isles finally get on the board, but Pens still lead 2-1.
18:40- The Pens PP ends. Malkin is robbed by the stick of Poulin! Geno has been feeling it and looks to open up his scoring at any time.
19:10- The Pens now have a PP for 30 seconds.

3:32- Engo tries to protect the front of the Pens net, but is called for roughing as a result. The Isles will get their first PP of the game.
3:40- Okposo heads to the locker room after blocking a shot with his foot.
6:30- The Isles have been driving to the net and getting into the kitchen of Zatkoff. The Pens defense has done a good job of pushing them back out, as Engo proved by showing Cizikas not to step near his goaltender.
8:00- Okposo receives a pass across the blue paint, but it stops on his stick. Zatkoff is able to cover the puck before Okposo gets a good shot off.
10:16- Tanger makes a solid pass to Jokinen and his shot goes through the blue paint!
12:05- KUNI SCORES ON THE PP AGAIN!! The Isles are caught up in the Pens zone. This creates a 3-on-1 chance with Neal carrying the puck, Sid driving the net, and Kuni on the side. Neal passes across to Kuni and it flies pass the glove of Poulin! 2-0 Pens
12:18- The Isles cannot seem to stay out of the box as Hamonic gets a high sticking penalty. The Pens bring out the PP unit.
13:19- The Isles are able to kill off the Pens PP. The Pens still moving the puck flawlessly on the PP, something special.
15:19- Vanek is in the box for interference and the Pens will get another PP chance.
15:50- KUNI SCORES ON THE PP! Geno passes to Sid across the ice, Sid passes back across to Kuni coming across the goal mouth. Kuni directs one over Poulin and into the back of the net! 1-0 Pens!
17:06- The Pens are getting the first PP of the game as Regin is headed to the box for delay of game!
17:13- Clutterbuck rips a wrist shot from the slot and Zatkoff gobbles up the puck for a faceoff. Great start for the netminder.
