The
Pens have extended their winning streak to ten games now with a 2-1 win over the Capitals. It was a great showing by the
Pens without two of their key players in
Geno and
Tanger.
Sid assisted on both goals and had an empty net chance, but he was robbed by the goal post.
Flower stood strong in the net and the
Pens PK came up big after giving up the first goal to Ovechkin. Interesting enough NBC announcers said they were tried of this
Sid and Ovechkin debate. Milbury said there is none and
Sid was the better of the two. As the title above they said
Sid was a team player and Ovechkin was a one man band making
Sid the better hockey player. There you have it and said by Milbury himselft, shocker isn't it. It feels good to be a
Pens fan and hopefully they keep this streak going.
Geno and
Tanger getting healthy is the next step and would put the
Pens in even better position.
