0:00- PENS WIN 4-3!!! What a game by the Pens!
0:20- Duper tries for the empty net, but just misses the the net!
1:00- Sabres empty net!
2:04- MARTIN SCORES!!! Sid passes the puck off to Martin as Sabres surround him. Martin fires one from the point and it goes into the net! Sid may have redirected the shot, but Martin still has the credit! Pens lead 4-3
3:08- Miller just robs Neal!! Unreal save as Neal fires a shot with a seemly wide open net. Miller flashes the gloves to nab the puck out of the air.
3:35- Goalie battle going on right now! Amazing chances by both sides and great saves by both goalies!
4:18- Pens kill off the Sabres PP. Amazing PK by Pens and Flower making amazing saves. Unreal
6:18- Kuni will take a seat for slashing and the Sabres will head onto the PP.
8:30- Flower with quick saves on Sabres. Keeping the Pens in a tie game and working hard to keep the door closed on the Sabres!
12:54- DUPER SCORES!!! The Sabres turn over the puck in the offensive zone and Sid, Duper, Kuni attack. Tanger is able to make a great move to get space and makes a pass to the other side of the Sabres net to a wide open Duper. He lets go of a quick shot and it blows pass the blocker of Miller. 3-3 tie game!
14:43- OTT SCORES! Sabres come into the Pens zone and pass to the center. Ott is left wide open and fires one pass Martin and Flower into the back of the net. Pens now trailing 3-2 to the Sabres!
16:21- Sid hussling around to keep the puck in the Sabres zone and fires a shot from the blue line. Kuni redirects that shot and Miller just able to make the pad save. Nice play by the Pens there.
17:38- Glass and Sabres McCormick drop the gloves. Good fight, but can't say that Glass won that one. Taken up for Sutter as McCormick had laid a nasty hit on him last period.
20:00- Time for the third period and for the Pens to put some more goals on the board to take back the lead! Lets Go Pens!
2nd Period
0:00- Second period ends and the Sabres have tied it up 2-2!
0:30- Glass makes a diving play to stop a Sabres pass in front of the Pens net! Amazing defensive play by the forward.
6:08- Pens PP ends. Tanger hits the crossbar with a shot from the point! Pens had some good looks at the Sabres net and Sabres did a good job at blocking shots also.
8:08- Pens will now get a PP chance as Pominville is called for interference.
10:32- Neal makes a pass to the center and Sid is driving to the net. Miller comes up with a save in close quarters. Good play.
10:19- Pens back at full strength. Flower still coming up big for the Pens.
10:44- VANEK SCORES ON THE 5 ON 3 PP! Vanek redirects a shot from the point by Enrhoff and it finds its way to the back of the Pens net. 2-2 tie game! Sabres still with 23 second PP.
12:19- Glass is now going to join Sid in the box and the Sabres will get a 5 on 3 PP for about a full two minutes.
12:21- Sid is off to the box for a cross checking penalty and the Sabres will get a PP.
14:44- Sabres Hecht gets a breakaway chance and Niskanen tries to get back. Hecht's wrist shot is fought off by the shoulder of Flower!
18:00- Pens PP ends. Martin made a great play to knock down the puck from mid-air to keep the puck in the Sabres zone! Pens had some great chances on Miller, just weren't able to put the puck in the back of the net!
20:00- Second period is underway and the Pens look to build on their lead! Pens on the PP to start! Lets Go Pens!

4:13- Neal is sent to the sin bin for interference and the Sabres will get their first PP of the game.
7:15- Neal breaks into the Sabres zone and makes his way around the defense. He gets a great shot off, but Miller makes the save.
10:21- We are back to some 5 on 5 hockey. Sid had an amazing move around Sabres defense and almost had a goal. Good work by Pens on both ends.
12:21- Geno and Sabres Weber are in the box and some 4 on 4 hockey.
13:28- SABRES HODGSON SCORES! Hodgson keeps at it trying to settle down a bouncing puck in front of Flower. Pens defense not able to shut him down. He settles down the puck then fires a shot high and over the glove of Flower. Sabres on the board as Pens still lead 2-1.
14:08- Pens PP ends. Martin made a great defensive play to keep the Sabres from getting a good short handed chance.
16:08- Pens will get another PP as Sabres Pominville is sent to the sin bin for tripping.
18:33- SID SCORES ON THE PP!!! A shot from the point bounces off the back boards, Sid takes the puck and jams it behind the pad of Miller, which was out to shot the first shot. It's a PP goal and the Pens lead 2-0
18:52- Pens will get a PP chance as Sabres Myers takes a seat for high sticking.
19:25- DUPER SCORES!!! Orpik takes a shot from the point and it is redirected by Duper into the Sabres net. Miller had no chance on that one. Pens take the early lead 1-0 over the Sabres
20:00- It's Hockey Day in America and the puck has dropped! The Pens @ Sabres. Lets Go Pens!
