0:00- We are going to a shootout!
1:49- Somehow Staal misses an empty net!
3:37- Geno dances around Panthers D, but can't finish the play.
5:00- Puck drops on OT! Lets Go Pens!
Third Period
0:00- We are still tie after 60 minutes at 1-1! We are going to OT!
0:30- Staal gets through the Panthers D and tries a pass, but it goes off the stick on Sullivan. Should of shot the puck.
2:10- Fast pace and close checking game. Both teams want to finish this in regulation.
4:11- Flower makes two huge back to back saves. Another day at the office for the Pens netminder.
4:54- Z with a shot that is blocked.
6:24- Panthers get lucky as Theodore was caught behind the net.
8:08- Kuni with a shot that goes off the post!
10:33- Panthers use their timeout.
11:07- Dupuis scored, but the play was reviewed. Was called back saying it didn't completely cross the goal line.
11:45- Pens PP ends. Good chances on the PP and some close calls.
13:15- Geno shot is stopped by Panthers Theodore, who stands tall to make the save.
14:00- Flower with a pad save on Panthers SH opportunity.
15:45- Adams gets a high stick to the face and is bleeding, so he heads to the locker room. Pens get a 4 minute PP.
17:04- Panthers turn over the puck and Staal gets the puck. Sullivan gets a breakaway and backhands one to the net. It trickles over the goal line to tie this game at 1-1. Staal and Dupuis with assists on the goal.
18:52- Flower decides to glove up the puck for a face-off.
20:00- Time for the Pens to begin their comeback! Lets Go Pens!
Second Period
0:00- Second period ends! Panthers have the lead 1-0 over the Pens. Pens haven't been able to get one pass Panthers Theodore yet. They will have to bring it all out in the third and start their comeback.
1:50- Panthers Fleischmann with a breakaway and a great save by Flower. Orpik with great back checking as well.
3:33- Geno with good defensive work blocking Panthers shot.
5:03- Kuni is shut down by Panthers Theodore. He is looking solid in the net. Pens need to get to the dirty areas if they want goals.
6:22- Panthers doing a great job at boxing out the Pens in front of Theodore. Getting to rebounds and clearing them before the Pens get there.
7:18- Panthers ring one off the post.
8:12- We are back to full strength.
9:00- Panthers Theodore was down and somehow stops Neal! Unbelievable!
9:26- Staal with good skating comes into the Panthers zone, but is stopped by Theodore.
10:13- Cooke and Panthers Samuelsson sit with roughing penalties. 4 on 4 hockey.
10:34- Pens struggling with getting the puck behind Panthers Theodore.
12:43- PANTHERS SCORES! Fleischmann left all alone at the far post puts one pass Flower, who can't get to the post in time. 1-0 Panthers.
14:23- Despres rips one from the blue line and it goes wide.
16:06- Flower is strong in the net and makes another good save.
18:45- Lovejoy with great defensive work and joins the rush. Kuni with a hard shot is stopped by Panthers Theodore.
19:12- Panthers get early zone time! Pens have trouble getting out and to the red line.
20:00- Time for the second period! Lets get a goal Pens! Who is getting the first goal?
First Period
0:00- First period ends and we are scoreless. Panthers looked good in the first period and the Pens will have to step up their game.
1:59- Pens kill off the Panthers PP. Flower was amazing in the net!
3:59- Dupuis takes a sit for tripping and Panthers go to the PP.
4:50- Sullivan passes the puck to the front of the net and gets goes across the blue paint. Z picks it up and rips one that goes off the post. So close he could taste it!
7:07- Despres with a great shot that is redirected wide of the net.
9:44- Orpik and Z laying out Panthers with hard hits. TK with a great chance just goes wide of the net.
11:04- Despres hits the post!
11:55- Kuni picks Panthers pocket and gives the puck to Geno. He backhands one wide of the net.
12:42- Flower takes a shot up high in the crest and grabs up the puck. Panthers with a lot of puck control time in Pens zone. Pens need to pick it up.
14:31- Staal, Dupuis, and Sullivan with mad scramble in front of Panthers' net. Crazy!
15:42- Fast pace game. Panthers seem to have the early edge.
17:51- Z lets go of a shot from the blue line. It goes off the shoulder of Panthers Theodore.
19:00- Staal passes from behind the Panthers net to Sullivan. He lets go of a the puck and is stopped by Panthers Theodore.
20:00- Puck drops and here we go! Pens look to extend their winning streak to 8 games! LETS GO PENS!
Martin is not playing tonight and that means Despres is in!
